Kim Arrey
Kim has a thriving dietetics practice based in Montreal where she been able to guide her clients toward healthy, tasty food choices that enable them to live their best lives. She is co-author of the book “The Complete Arthritis Health, Diet Guide and Cookbook” with Dr. Michael Starr which is now in its 2nd edition. Kim speaks about making healthy eating choices, transforming complex scientific information into easy to understand terms to help her clients get results even the doctor’s are happy to write home about. Kim is often asked to comment on nutrition issues by local and national journalists and is a regular contributor on Weekends with Joanne on CJAD in Montreal. Kim is a preceptor for students in Dietetics during their internship, and has been a guest lecturer at McGill for students in dietetics and medicine. She is member of the Ordre Professionelle des Diététistes Nutritionnistes de Quebec (ODNQ), Dietitians of Canada (DC) and the Attention Deficit Disorder Association and Children (ADDA) and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD). A graduate of McGill University (BSc, major dietetic) and she has participated in many continuing education sessions throughout her career. She completed the Certification in Adult Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The Learning Retreat on the Principles of interdisciplinary obesity management for dietitians offered by Obesity Canada and Dietitians of Canada.
