Carlamay Sheremata
Carlamay Sheremata has always been different—artistic, musical, and an out-of-the-box thinker. She didn’t fit into one group yet connected with everyone. Singing since age 3, she pursued psychology, sociology, and music in university, but her heart led her to Nashville to chase a music career. Life’s twists brought her back, working in oil and gas but craving equal opportunities for men and women. Passionate about helping people, she sought a policing career. Even after a cancer diagnosis during the selection process, her resilience carried her through treatment and into the police academy. Her creativity proved invaluable, especially as a School Resource Officer, where she connected with youth, helping them find their “sparkle” by embracing their unique strengths.
