Johanna Lunn
Johanna Lunn has worked in the film and television business for over 35 years. In that time, she has helped start up a PBS station in Colorado; created a ground-breaking children’s film festival in Canada; and was Artistic Director of the Atlantic Film Festival. She was head of CTV’s Atlantic Canadian Development Office; launched specialty channel IFC Canada; produced and directed over 150 hours of award-winning television; and directed six documentary features, one of which won Best Documentary in its class at Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival for Forgiveness: Stories for Our Time. Johanna is the co-founder of the When You Die Project which hosts a resource rich website, podcast and the When You Die documentary trilogy. She is using her lifelong curiosity about the death and dying process to bring documentaries about, "What happens when we die," to life. She lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband Steve and their frisky rescue pup Bongo.
