Micheal Vonn
Michael Vonn is a lawyer and the Policy Director of the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association, https://bccla.org/. She’s been an adjunct professor in the faculty of law at the University of British Columbia. She’s also been an adjunct professor at the University’s School of Library, Archival and Information Studies, where she teaches information ethics and intellectual freedom. She’s a regular guest instructor for the University’s College of Health Disciplines Interdisciplinary Elective in HIV/AIDS care. She’s a frequent speaker on a variety of civil liberties topics including privacy, national security, patient rights, policing, surveillance and free speech. And she’s a former board member of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and an advisory board member of Privacy International.
