Gil Tyree
Emmy-award winning sportscaster Gil Tyree is the weekday sports anchor for CBS Atlanta. Gil’s sports broadcasting experience includes the NCAA Final Four, Super Bowl XXX, Olympic features, NASCAR, College Football National Championship games, Major League Baseball (including World Championships), professional football, basketball and hockey, women’s sports, college and high school sports and much more. Gil’s depth and experience not only includes television broadcasting, but radio involvement as well. He hosted a popular sports radio talk program, in affiliation with the Arizona Cardinals; has appeared as a frequent guest and panelist for numerous sports and radio shows to discuss and analyze topics ranging from sports to politics to social issues; and as a popular pre-game host for professional football.
