In November 2009, Goldman Sachs launched the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative (10KSB), a $500 million, five-year commitment aimed at boosting job growth in the United States. The initiative was modeled on 10,000 Women, a Goldman Sachs global initiative that was started in early in helping women business owners around the world create value.
