We are a few weeks into the New Year, at this point Companies are getting started on Project and Portfolio goals for 2018. Rick mentioned in his Agile trends podcast that one key difference in Agile vs Waterfall is that the earlier phases of a waterfall project are greatly reduced when Agile Methodology is used thus increasing the speed to value. Nichole is seeing mid to large sized companies are working to grow the percentage of projects that are managed using Agile Methodologies specifically to reduce the amount of time spent in these early phases, get to execution sooner thus increasing their speed to value and potentially reducing project costs. Nichole will be discussing her input into this groundbreaking book.
