Episode Description
As a veteran of the US Army, Victoriously Speaking has a lot of love for those who served. In this pilot season, she saved the military L.I.F.E. topic for the last series, because it was the greatest experience of her life. She attributes the Army to having a big part to play in who she is today. In this (3) part series we will discuss the assimilation into the military, the transition of discharging back to civilian life and living with PTSD. It is the host, Victoriously Speaking's vision to bring understanding and healing to all service members and veterans that have struggled and struggle with the many transitions of being apart of the military. This episode is also an attempt to shed some light on the symptoms of PTSD and how it effects the community even outside the military.

Mrs. Nicole Benton is the founder and president of Reconciliation Movement, Inc, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2012 to educate the community about the importance of political civic engagement, entrepreneurship and economics, informal and formal education as well as family cohesiveness. It is her vision to uplift communities by breaking the barriers of division to create sustainable change in all communities. There are various workshops and media projects where Mrs. Benton writes, performs and facilitates various topics for self-awareness and motivational inspiration. In addition, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has a private practice (NNK 4 L.I.F.E.) where she assists others in seeking and maintaining a purpose driven life. It is Mrs. Benton’s belief that Living Independently for Excellence (L.I.F.E.) is to live free of fear, anger and/or doubt. She lives everyday professionally and creatively assisting others in their path as she walks the path that God gave her as a wife, advocate, counselor, motivational speaker, performer and writer.
