Dr. Vidisha Patel
Dr. Vidisha Patel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and practices in Sarasota, Florida. She is also licensed to teach stress management tools as a HeartMath Coach. Dr. Patel helps people of all ages understand their emotional responses and improve their relationship skills.
Dr. Patel brings a rich experience of business and education to her current field of work. She has worked in finance in the US and overseas, having completed an MBA in finance and international business before pursuing a doctoral degree in counseling.
As an immigrant from India who has traveled and lived all over the world, Dr. Patel brings a unique perspective to her work both personally and professionally. Her warm personality and rich experience enable her to assist people of all ages understand their emotional responses and successfully improve their interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Patel is an alumna of Williams College in Massachusetts, Columbia University in New York, and Argosy University in Florida. She is active in the local community and serves on a variety of local and national boards. She currently serves as a trustee for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as well as on the Executive Board of the Alumni Society of Williams College (her alma mater) and the Florida Medical Association Alliance Finance and Strategic Planning Committees.
