Joining him is William C. Dement, MD, PhD, author of "The Promise of Sleep." Dr. Dement is the Founder and Director of the Stanford University Sleep Research Center. He has co-authored greater than 300 scientific articles in the medical literature about sleep-related issues and is a leading expert worldwide about the topic. Dr. Dement is Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine.

HARVEY S. BARTNOF, MD is the Founder and Medical Director of California Longevity and Vitality Medical Institute® in San Francisco, California. He is a licensed physician in the state of California. Dr. Bartnof was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and completed his undergraduate BA (Bachelor Of Arts) degree with high honors in Biology from the University Of California At San Diego (UCSD, Revelle College) in La Jolla, California. He received his M.D. (medical doctor) degree from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) with honors in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacology and Otolaryngology. He did his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Subsequently, he was a full-time Staff Physician at Santa Teresa Community Medical Center in San Jose, California in Emergency Medicine for eight years.
