Patients have a lot of options when choosing their doctor. There are thousands of doctors offering cosmetic treatments and procedures. Not all doctors are created equal. We will talk about all the things to look for when choosing your plastic surgeon. We will also speak with a patient that had a difficult time after making her choice. Our featured guests this week highlight patient safety and what plastic surgeons do to ensure the best and safest results. Dr. James Grotting and Dr. Scot Glasberg will join us from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Learn how to protect yourself from the less qualified doctors and facilities. This is an episode that can help you make the best choices when having a procedure done, and maybe even save your life. Dr. Adam Rubinstein
Dr. Adam Rubinstein is a highly respected and recognized board certified plastic surgeon providing top notch care to patients from South Florida, across the United States, and many countries throughout the world.
Dr. Rubinstein is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has trained with the world's eminent surgeons at the forefront of developing techniques for plastic surgery. He has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery for Jackson North Medical Center. Dr. Rubinstein is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at NOVA Southeastern University, and clinical faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program in Florida.
He has been newly appointed to the teaching faculty of the Florida International University (FIU) College of Medicine Department of Surgery. He is the exclusive plastic surgeon for the Pritikin Longevity Center. Dr. Rubinstein currently serves on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal published by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He holds memberships in many prestigious medical societies and associations, which include The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons. He is the current vice president of The Ralph Millard Jr., M.D. Medical Society & Education Foundation.
