The Blueprint
Archives available on VoiceAmerica Sports Channel
The Blueprint is about what is going on in sports every day. I am looking for the latest changes and reports in sports that are not seen on everyday SportsCenter. I want to keep you up to speed on the big picture but I am looking for more intimate details. We will expand and talk about players on and off the field. This show goes beyond the TV and other radio sports shows because we will feature inspiring stories, not just the big names. You want creativity and that's what The Blueprint is going to give you.
Randall Gatewood
Randall Gatewood grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas before transferring to UNLV in Las Vegas. Randall signed with the Miami Dolphins in 1995 and was released that same year. He then went on to play 12 years in the Arena Football League with the Arizona Rattlers where he burst onto the scene and won the rookie of the Year Award. Randall retired in 2007 from the Rattlers. Randall feels that he has pretty much accomplished everything he’s set out to do. He has received a long list of personal awards which included several 1st Team and 2nd Team All-AFL Teams. Randall also was elected to Several All-Ironman teams, winning a championship in 1997 and playing in three others. Last, He won the Ironman of the Year Award in 2004 and 2006 which is the most prestigous award in the Arena Football League. Arguably Randall was one of the best guys to play in the league. He made 17th place on the Arena Football All-Time Top 20 Players list.
