Chris Tinney is a Harley-riding, wine-drinking, tie-loathing Vegan and host of Up Close with Chris Tinney.
“Up Close with Chris Tinney” is unique in that it exists to educate people about the environmental and social and challenges we face today and provide easy actions steps we can take today to walk more softly on our small planet.
We explore serious topics with serious people but make sure we always offer action steps you can take to be part of making a difference. Whether emailing your congressman or sharing a picture on social media you will always end each and every show knowing something you can do that matters.
Social responsibility had not yet been coined as a phrase when Chris Tinney started a brokerage firm and became one of the first stock brokers to specialize in socially responsible investing. It was then he first saw the power behind the simple choices business, community leaders and consumers make every day.
His later experience in Fortune 100 management, as a Radio Station News director and Founder of Spread Peace USA give him a unique perspective that he brings to the show every week.
He now serves on the board of Hotei Media Ltd, an ad agency serving nonprofits and as host of Up Close with Chris Tinney on the VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network and continues to ask everyone he meets, “Who can you help today?”
