Episode Description
We’ve touched on sticky work situations a few times in a few ways in previous episodes, but I’ll be darned if a brand new sticky situation didn’t unfold over the past couple of months for me personally. In episode 12, I'll recap my very fresh "stuck" experience, what I did about it, and what I learned from it. /////////////////////////////// Special thanks to Rossco Soletrain for my original music! /////////////////////////////// Mentioned in today’s show: • swiftcupcoffee.com • bluebottlecoffee.com Office Space movie: imdb.com/title/tt0151804/ /////////////////////////////// The Coffee With Jaimee show is in no way to be construed or substituted as psychological counseling, psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or any other type of psychotherapy or medical advice. Jaimee Finney
Jaimee grew up in hardscrabble rural Nevada. Her lifelong best friend’s name is Sunshine. You might imagine that this was a creative advantage, and yes, she soon found herself at UNLV studying art, welding sculptures, and eventually teaching during the nascent internet era. This led to stints in film and video production, web design, and partnering in a creative agency with offices in Las Vegas and Chicago.
Her talents as a tech nerd, artist, business founder, and university instructor served her well during the mobile app development boom. Spurred on by the launch of the iPhone, Jaimee grew into an ace user experience designer consulting many Fortune 500 clients. She became the ultimate bridge-builder between creatives, engineers, and stakeholders. She made sales, building teams, and managing projects fun. Clients loved and trusted her.
In recent years Jaimee has taken to entrepreneurial pursuits, writing, and traveling the world, speaking at conferences, sharing what she’s learned about personal and vocational life. A pioneer of working from home since 2011, she currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, two daughters, and a batch of rescue pets.
