Episode Description
The buzz: “A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be" (Wayne Gretzky]. Coaching the fastest game on ice is tough! Where to turn for help? Technology. The NHL built the next generation of “connected athletes” by supplying real-time data insights and analytics to elevate their preparation and performance when and where it counts. The SAP-NHL Coaching Insights App for iPad is one of many transformational innovations bringing fans closer to the action in arenas and across mobile devices. How did they do it? The experts speak. Chris Foster, NHL: “Great moments are born from great opportunities” (Coach Herb Brooks in Miracle). Rob Bendl, SAP America: “Don't give up. Don't ever give up” (Jim Valvano). Amy Schulz, SAP: “When you talk, you are only repeating what you already know. But if you listen, you may learn something new” (The Dalai Lama). Join us for Technology Hits The Ice: Next-Generation ‘Connected Athletes’.
