Maria is a highly experienced corporate career junkie who worked for over 40 years. She has a passion to help career women shift their perspective on creating and living a blissful retirement after they leave their 9 to 5 job.
She is the CEO of Maria Lucassen Coaching and organizes workshops for women who are ready to plan their retirement and helps them individually or in groups to prepare for a happy next phase in life that is fun, purposeful and affordable. Maria helps them to rock retirement and have the lifestyle that they want. As a speaker she engages her live or remote audiences with her refreshing and compassionate presentations.
She has worked and lived in several European countries. Her love of travel and curiosity about other cultures and traditions gives this show a global appeal to women everywhere. Her enthusiasm for the topic together with a zest for life make her a dynamic host that is inspiring women to dream about the next chapter in the book of life.
Maria has a Bachelors degree in hotel management from The Netherlands. At age 54 she earned a Master of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University. She is also an active member of Toastmasters International and received the highest award as Distinguished Toastmaster in 2019. She is a Certified Retirement Coach and member of the Retirement Coaches Association. She is one of 36 authors who described a major life event in a compilation book “What Have You Forbes’d Lately?”
