Episode Description
Has Leadership "gone to the dogs"? Perhaps the truest litmus test of practical leadership is the realm of the entrepreneur. All successful entrepreneurs must exhibit an acute sense of leadership across the many roles of a business. From sales and human resources to logistics and accounting, the entrepreneur either does it all and/or is responsible for others taking on those tasks. Our guest, Alice Lerman is an example of a successful retail entrepreneur in the competitive pet supply arena. For Alice, no two days are ever the same and simply keeping pace with the competitive landscape can be all consuming. Alice will share with us how she not only leads her team but also share with us some of the pitfalls and setbacks she experienced and that has made her stronger today.

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
Leadership Takeoff is about developing better personal and professional leadership. Since it stands to reason that we can’t be better organizational leaders unless we can best lead ourselves, we will always be looking to provide strategies, tactics and tools to better our own personal leadership. We will also explore better ways to be more effective as a business team member, managers and executives.
Since life never stops and we can’t just pull-over to take a break, we need to be the Pilot in Command, or PIC of our own lives, safely guiding ourselves through the turbulence of life and ultimately making safe and successful landings. We’ll show you how to do it through a variety of means, guests and always with an entertaining component or two.
