Episode Description
This episode is based on Brene Brown's research around vulnerability. We are the most in debt, obese, addicted and medicated adult cohort in US history because we numb the pain of vulnerability. Brene Brown calls people who are able to fully embrace vulnerability "wholehearted."
If you seek to free yourself from the fear, shame and guilt of hiding who you really are from the world, this show will help you embrace vulnerability so that you can tap into the joy, creativity, love and sense of belonging that you know you deserve.
I will share with you a powerful model of transformation that will enable you to stop numbing and pretending you are perfect and let the world to see you as the uniquely gifted and imperfect person you are. Your life will begin to take on meaning and purpose as a result, and you will tap into a source of fulfillment and abundance that you never dreamed possible.
Intentional Living
Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
We are most unhappy with our lives when we are living at the effect of conditions in which we’ve rendered ourselves powerless. Intentional Living shifts that dynamic and puts you in control of your life again. Being intentional requires understanding that your conscious and unconscious thoughts, feelings, attitudes and actions create your reality. It involves becoming aware of your self-limiting beliefs and blocks, and freeing yourself from past conditioning and habits that keep you stuck. It requires gaining clarity about who you are and what you want, and choosing how you “show up” in all situations. It’s simple, but rarely easy. Is it worth it? You get to decide.
